Donate artwork to VUGA Foundation.

VUGA Foundation Inc. accepts works of art, archives, and cultural objects from collectors, artists, estates, galleries, art advisors, and foundations. Each submission is reviewed by our acquisitions committee for fit with the Foundation's mission and collection.

What We Consider

Works VUGA Foundation may accept.

The Foundation considers works that advance equality, justice, and global peace — whether for exhibition, the future Public Art Museum, educational programs, or archival preservation.

Contemporary Art

Painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, and works on paper by living artists.

Film & Media

Documentary, archival, and film/media works aligned with the Foundation's mission.

Archives & Estates

Artist archives, estate collections, and historical documentation of cultural significance.

Cultural Objects

Objects of cultural, historical, or community significance that support our public programs.

Process

Review process.

  1. 1 Submit the inquiry form below with images and basic details.
  2. 2 Our acquisitions committee reviews materials, typically within 4–6 weeks.
  3. 3 If accepted, we coordinate appraisal, transfer, and deed-of-gift documentation.
  4. 4 You receive an acknowledgment letter for your records.
Tax & appraisal note. Donors may be eligible to claim a charitable tax deduction based on an independent qualified appraisal, subject to IRS rules and their own tax advisor's guidance. VUGA Foundation does not provide tax, legal, or appraisal advice. Acceptance of artwork is subject to review and does not guarantee exhibition, permanent display, specific valuation, or specific tax treatment.
