Florida Supports Florida is a special initiative created to support the talented designers who contribute to the development of Florida's menswear scene. From 2024 to 2026, the project has provided full runway production and international press promotion for participating designers — a meaningful investment in local talent at a moment when regional fashion scenes are redefining the industry.
The initiative operates within the broader Florida Men's Fashion Week platform — a runway and cultural project across Miami, Paris, and New York that has grown into a network of over 4,000 menswear designers and a community of 1,000 male models. Florida Supports Florida is where that platform meets its home: an open door for Florida-based designers to stage their work at the same professional level as the world's most established brands, with press, photography, and distribution support built in.
What participating designers receive
Through the initiative, participating designers have access to: complete runway production — venue, lighting, sound, and backstage management; casting from the FMFW model community; professional photography and video; a credentialed international press program that places participating designers in outlets across fashion, culture, and lifestyle media; and a seat at the table — Florida Supports Florida designers present alongside the platform's established international roster, sharing audiences, contacts, and momentum.

Why Florida, why now
Florida has quietly become one of the most interesting fashion laboratories in the country. A uniquely global population, year-round outdoor living, and a creative industries base that extends across music, film, and visual art have combined to produce a generation of designers whose work looks and feels nothing like the incumbents in New York, Paris, or Milan. Florida Supports Florida is the bet that those designers deserve a professional, reliable platform to build their careers from — and that the world is ready to pay attention.
